Product name:RX SERIES FLUORESCENT PIGMENTS |
 |
|
General description:
RX series pigments are thermo plastics pigments
which are recommended for a wide range of
applications where resistance to strong solvents
is not needed. They perform well in a system
based on aliphatic and some aromatic
hydrocarbons. The Rx series are used in such
applications as paper coatings, vinyl coated
fabric, a-type gravure inks, paints, screen
inks, vinyl plastisols and organisols and
plastics with melt temperatures less than 193.
They are also usable in water systems where
pro-longed self-life is not required. RX series
pigments can provide the brightest fluorescent
color and superior tinting
strength.

Additives and
toxicity: Studies have shown that plastic
processing additives containing zinc, magnesium,
calcium and iron will cause deleterious color
effects when used in a plastic resin system
containing RX pigments. Tests have shown that RX
series are essentially non-toxic. Storage: Under conditions that are cool,
dry, covered, away from direct sunlight and free
of airborne contaminates, the shelf life of RX
series will be indefinite. Upon extended
exposure to heat and humidity, RX series may
form hard lumps that must be crushed prior
